The history of our store began with two best friends and their love for beauty!

In the recent past in 2023 two childhood friends Jessica and Emma were in their final year at the University of California, Berkeley. They were studying business but they hadn't yet fully decided in which direction they would build their own businesses.

Jessica was a big fan of beauty. She was always attracted to everything related to body, face and health care as well as everything that helped her to reveal her inner glow.

Emma, on the other hand, preferred technology. She believed that it was the future and planned to connect her company with it.

One evening after classes, the friends were sitting in their dorm room, doing their evening bedtime rituals, sharing dreams about the future, when they suddenly had an idea.

Why don't they start a business together?

 

Indeed! They know each other well, they’ve always had complete trust between them, and they have only quarreled a couple of times at school over boys. From that night on, the girls were hooked on the idea!

Every day after school, the friends would go to their favorite cafe around the corner and discuss the details of their business model over a cup of coffee. It had to be something that both friends knew about, but also something that wasn't oversaturated on the market. They went through a lot of options, consulted with friends, parents, teachers at the university... and then it hit them. Why not combine beauty and technology in one place? Bingo! They loved the idea! They decided to create a store that would feature the coolest gadgets and accessories for beauty and health care! This was the beginning of an interesting and exciting journey of creating GlowChic.

By the way, the girls decided on the name quickly. After all, their goal was clear - to help all women discover their inner Glow✨.

The girls spent all their free time studying their topic, looking for reliable manufacturers with interesting ideas, paying attention to products that had not yet gained much popularity in the States, and in a few weeks, after the long-awaited graduation from the university, the friends went on a long journey around the world in search of their ideal products, which will soon fill the virtual shelves of GlowChic!
